Family Therapy is designed with the understanding all families are unique. We view the family as an essential piece of a patient’s ongoing treatment program and seek to involve family members in the treatment and recovery process. Our family therapy program is designed to assess your family’s needs, educate you about mental health and behavioral issues and offer ongoing family support during and after the patient’s treatment.
Individual therapy is a private and productive way to overcome behavioral issues. Individual treatment sessions provide more one-on-one time to address the particular needs of the teenager. Individual therapy teaches the teen the tools and skills to overcome their challenges.
It is the goal and mission of Rise Above to provide treatment for teens struggling with behavioral issues in an environment that supports the understanding of and treatment of the factors involved in driving these behaviors. The focus on developing the skills to deal with the complexities of transitioning from childhood to young adulthood provide an improved sense of balance and emotional control. Our program will give them the tools to build a strong foundation to stand on and be able to develop the mind set necessary to become the person they are capable of becoming.
